In addition to the Chief of Police and Major, daily support and administration of the Black Mountain Police Department and its duties fall under the guidance of the Administrative Lieutenant who supervises or oversees the following:
Communications
Criminal Investigation Division
Police in Service Training Certifications
Police Reserve Program
Operational budget of the Police Department.
Daily support and administration of the Black Mountain Police Department Patrol division and its duties fall under the guidance of the Patrol Lieutenant.
