Black Mountain Recreation’s focus is to enhance quality of life through recreational opportunities for adults. There are a wide range of recreational and leisure activities to meet a variety of interests and skill levels. Adult programs and leagues through Black Mountain Recreation are here to help adults of all ages to seek opportunities to learn new skills, pursue a special interest and interact with others.

Monarch Migration 2020
Date: Saturday, October 10

Join Recreation and Park's, Emily Sampson- a native plant and butterfly conservationist, at the new pollinator garden at Lake Tomahawk during the peak of fall Monarch migration and learn about protecting Monarchs and other pollinators. At this event, participants will be able to tag and release monarch butterflies and also get advice on when, where, and how to create your own pollinator space!
