We are excited to announce that Black Mountain Summer Camp will be open summer 2022!

Black Mountain Summer Camp (BMSC) is a day camp for rising 1st graders through rising 6th graders. We explore our local pools, parks, walking trails, creeks, waterfalls and lakes.
We also enjoy creative expressions like arts and crafts, going to museums and plays.  BMSC encourages campers to enjoy adventure, to be creative, to share their wonderment, and to nurture others and themselves in a safe environment.

Camp hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.  We are located on the lower level of the Lakeview Center at Lake Tomahawk. We are part of the Recreation and Parks Department in the Town of  Black Mountain.

See our Facebook page for pictures of our past adventures.

Camp Fees: $190 per week, per camper; $50 deposit to hold a spot; balance $140

Register your camper for the grade level they completed this school year. If they attended 3rd grade in the 2021-2022 school year, then that is the age group you will register them for. You can register for any week you wish with the exception to weeks 3 and 4, they have specific age ranges.

There is a $50 deposit required at registration, to hold a spot each week, per camper. This will be deducted from the total balance for the week.

The balance will be due no later than the Friday before the week(s) your camper is attending.

If you do not get the week(s) you want or need, please put your camper on the waitlist. Plans change often, so we will pull campers off the wait list first, before accepting new registrations.
