The Historic Preservation Commission made a stroll through downtown Black Mountain on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. The Commission was looking at all of the buildings in the Historic and Conservation District, gaining historic information on the buildings. The weather was perfect for an afternoon stroll and the Commission spoke to a couple of downtown business merchants who provided some extra history on some of the downtown buildings. The Commission looks forward to doing more activities as the year progresses.
The Historic Preservation Commission meets the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall. Everyone is welcome to come to the meetings.
