[ARCHIVED] Stay-at-Home Order Impact on Parks

Black Mountain Greenways

The Town of Black Mountain will be following a Stay-at-Home order beginning at 8:00 p.m. on March 26, 2020. This means that all parks, playgrounds, and public restrooms will remain closed until further notice. This closure applies to Cragmont Park, the Grey Eagle Arena, Lake Tomahawk Park (including the walking trail), River Walk Park, and Veteran’s Park.

All greenways will remain open to the public (as long as social distancing measures, including maintaining a six-foot social distance and gatherings of no more than ten people is practiced.) Our greenways include the Garden Greenway Trail (behind Grey Eagle Arena), the Oaks Trail (from downtown to Veteran’s Park), Village Way (between Primary and Elementary School), Flat Creek Greenway (behind Black Mountain Primary School).
