In light of the information currently known about COVID-19, the Town of Black Mountain has decided that it is in the best interests of our residents, guests, and staff for the Black Mountain Pool to remain closed this season. Based on the guidelines provided to us by the CDC and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, we feel as though attempting to operate the pool this season would not be feasible logistically, financially, and most importantly from a safety/liability standpoint. This is not an easy choice for us to make as we know that many in our community look forward to using the pool each summer, but we feel that this is the best decision long-term for our community.
