Over the past several weeks, our department has been monitoring the ever-evolving situation surrounding COVID-19. As North Carolina, and Buncombe County, continue to slowly reopen in phases, we realize that one of the last re-opening measures is lifting restrictions on large public gatherings. As a result of this, we have decided to cancel this year’s Park Rhythms Concert Series. This is a difficult decision, but one we wanted to make in accordance with the public safety of our community. Moving forward, we hope to confirm this year’s artists a place on next year’s lineup. All of us immensely looked forward to Thursday evenings in the summer filled with great music in the outdoors. By working together and staying safe in the process, we look forward to making our 2021 Park Rhythm Concert Series better than ever before. We appreciate your understanding of this decision and encourage you to support the arts and the artists in our community in any way possible during these times.
