The project will restore and stabilize approximately 1700 LF of the Swannanoa River located in Veteran's Park in Black Mountain. The primary goal of the program is to stabilize the eroding banks and river bed using natural materials such as stone and wood and native riparian plantings. The maximum budget for construction, materials, and plantings for this grant funded project is $126,000.
All proposals are to be received by mail no later than Wednesday, March 17, 2021, by 2:00 p.m. Each proposal should be clearly marked: "PROPOSAL RESPONSE - SWANNANOA RIVER RESTORATION"
