Do you have a stream on your property? Would you like to learn about a cost-effective way to stop streambank erosion using native plants? RiverLink is partnering with the Town of Black Mountain to offer a FREE workshop on live staking your streambank to prevent erosion. Participants will receive a bundle of 10 live stakes to plant, including silky dogwood, elderberry, and silky willow! This workshop will discuss flood resilience topics including stream bank protection, riparian buffers, construction measures, government resources, risks, and damage responsibility.
