All construction and trade permits for the Town of Black Mountain will be issued by Buncombe County until further notice due to staffing shortages. Owners and contractors will still be required to obtain zoning, stormwater and/or fire approval from the Town of Black Mountain before a permit will be issued by Buncombe County.
Applications for Buncombe County permits may be obtained here and they may be submitted in person at their office located at 30 Valley Street, Asheville, NC 28801 or they may be emailed to permitdocs@buncombecounty.org.
