Contract Janitorial Services for the Lakeview Center at Lake Tomahawk, Black Mountain, NC
Part Time: Monday – Sunday, 6am – 9am
Pay: $40 an hour
We are looking for contract janitorial services to clean the Lakeview Center facility after rental events. The ideal candidate has professional cleaning experience and is detail oriented when it comes to all custodial duties. It is suggested that a team or small group would be the best fit for cleaning the two different floors at the Lakeview Center. Schedule needs to be flexible with cleaning hours between 6am – 9am.
Cleaning Duties and Responsibilities:
· Sweep and mop the floors
· Wipe down all table and counter surfaces
· Clean each bathroom, restocking supplies as needed
· Empty trash bins in all rooms, taking trash to dumpster on location
· Alert Recreation staff when cleaning supplies get low
· Flexible schedule to clean after rental events; weekdays, weekends, and early mornings are required
· Maintain cleaning schedule given weekly by Recreation staff
Contract Janitorial Requirements:
· Prior cleaning experience, in a large facility preferred
· A high standard of cleanliness
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, with early morning cleaning times
· Ability to lift 20-30 pounds consistently
· Time-management skills
· Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
