We are so happy to welcome Angela Reece back to Black Mountain! Angela will be serving the community as the Project and Facilities Manager, a new position which will be responsible for the execution of capital and special projects and for the overall assessment and condition of buildings and property owned and operated by the Town.
Angela has more than 22 years of experience in local and state government in Western North Carolina and previously served the
citizens of the Town of Black Mountain as Town Clerk | Assistant to Manager | PIO. Most recently she served as the City Clerk for the City of Hendersonville. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Master of Public Administration from Western Carolina University and holds certificates from the UNC School of Government in areas of municipal finance, municipal and county administration and effective supervisory management. Angela holds certificates in FEMA Incident Management and has been recognized for completing the Homegrown Leaders program by the NC Rural Center. Angela is also a certified North Carolina Municipal Clerk and International Certified Municipal Clerk and maintains affiliation and leadership roles with the North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks as the District 12 Director.
