In February and March, Stormwater Program staff will be walking a portion of the waterways in Black Mountain to implement the Town’s Dry Weather Detection Program.
Staff will walk a portion of all creeks, streams, and river each year during the leaf-off season to locate outfalls and identify illicit discharges.
If you see Town Staff walking in a creek or stream near your property, please know they are conducting required inspections for the Town’s NPDES Permit.
