The Town of Black Mountain has been working on a new UDO that will replace the current Land Use Code. The UDO is modernizes the zoning provisions within confines of existing zoning, aligns regulations with Town policies, enhances review and approval procedures, establishes standards to achieve quality, resilient outcomes, and improves user-friendliness, consistency, and corrects contradictions.
